La Capannuccia: where we are
The Inn "The Capannuccia" rises in the heart of the Chianti, close of the two provinces of Siena and Florence. Completely dipped in the green of the Tuscany campaign, it is pproximately 5 Km from the characteristic medieval village of Castellina in Chianti. In less than 30 minutes by car they can be reached Siena, with its spectacular Piazza del Campo, San Gimignano, the city of the one hundred towers, Monteriggioni, with the town-walls building of 1200 (Dante Alighieri, Hell, 31c.) In less than an hour it is possible to cross part of the chianti Senese and Fiorentino until to arrive in the splendid city of Florence, where to be able to enjoy the Renaissance art and shopping.

From the Freeway A1 (Florence-Rome) Exited FIRENZE IMPRUNETA Take to the Autopalio direction Siena, after 20 km exit to San Donato in Poggio, then take the road for Castellina in Chianti, therefore to continue for Greve in Chianti until to find the sign Locanda "La Capannuccia", 2 km approximately from the Inn.
From the Freeway A1 (Rome-Florence) Exit SIENA/BETOLLE Take the superhighway in Siena direction, after approximately 40 Km exit to Siena Nord, continuing on the Chianti SR222 in Castellina in Chianti direction, therefore to continue for Greve in Chianti until to find the sign Locanda "La Capannuccia", 2 km approximately from the Inn.
